The Man Behind The Lens

Hello, my name is Tyler Rasmussen. I am a photographer based in Donnelly Idaho, where I live with my wife and our two dogs. I’ve always been deeply connected to the outdoors. From a young age, my life revolved around hunting, fishing, and exploring the wild places that make Idaho so special.

I discovered photography in middle school, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, photography became my way of slowing down, observing wildlife more closely, and telling the stories of the landscapes and animals I grew up alongside. Being outdoors with a camera in hand feels like home.

I started Idaho Wild Lens as a simple way to showcase my photographs and share my love for Idaho’s wildlife and rugged beauty. As more people began asking to purchase prints, I realized there was an opportunity to turn that passion into something more. What began as a creative outlet grew into a store, allowing me to share my work with others who appreciate the wild places we’re fortunate to experience.

Photography has always been my passion, and through Idaho Wild Lens, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for wildlife, conservation, and the untamed landscapes that continue to shape my life.
